- Oversee daily onsite operations of assigned construction projects
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
- Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
- Scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and FLC labor and materials.
- Plan and review construction program including plan layout, equipment requirements and manpower.
- Coordinate, schedule, and maintain records of all project testing including concrete and soil
- Maintain as built drawings for final submittal
- Site layout and control of benchmarks
- Quality control procedures and requirements.
- Weekly project safety meetings and daily safety inspections.
- Interpret and apply all company safety policies to ensure these are adhered to.
- Daily update of schedule status with Project Manager.
- Daily record keeping for project including number of subs, trades, deliveries.
- Review of shop drawings and submittals for compliance with plans for Architect and Engineer.
- Scheduling of Building & Zoning inspections.
- Review of invoices, requisitions and subcontracts.
- Final inspection & proper close-out documentation
- Work with Project Manager to establish monthly requisition to Owner.
- Assure the continued development of assembled staff.
- Have complete knowledge of and ensure that the project's Equal Employment Opportunity requirements are met.
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience, Self Storage projects a plus
- Strong project management and communications skills
- Ability to read construction documents
- Familiarity with Procore or similar software
- Salary from $110,000 to $130,000 + vehicle allowance
