    Job DescriptionOur client is a rapidly growing company that has asked for our help in finding a quality Senior Project Manager with water/wastewater experience. This remote position offers 50% travel, so you can work from home while still having the chance to visit project sites and connect with stakeholders face-to-face.


    As a Senior Project Manager, you'll oversee water/wastewater projects from start to finish, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with project directors in responding to RFPs, which includes preparing conceptual estimates, schedules, and other proposal documents.
    You may also participate in client presentations when necessary.

    • Participate in design review meetings, offering input on constructability, scope, and cost changes, and monitor the progress of design documents.
    • Create detailed estimates, manage cost codes, and oversee cost control systems.
    • Prepare bid packages, analyze bids, qualify subcontractors, and award subcontracts and major purchase orders.
    • Work with the Director of Construction and core construction personnel to establish job organization, including requirements for superintendents and PCE.
    • Plan, sequence, and schedule the project, collaborating with the superintendent and subcontractors.
    You will also lead project schedule management, conduct job site meetings, and prepare updated schedules.

    • Be responsible for project cost control, updating labor cost reports, summary cost reports, and project status summaries.
    • Handle the requirements of governing authorities for permits, inspections, and final project approval, in collaboration with A/E.
    • Maintain submittal control, overseeing scheduling, receiving, reviewing, approving, and expediting submittals from suppliers and subcontractors to comply with the progress schedule.
    • Manage client relations, conducting progress meetings, handling correspondence, periodic reports, change orders, and responding to client inquiries.
    • Maximize project cash flow through invoicing and collections, preparing requisitions for payment and other required project invoicing.
    • Prepare and secure owner acceptance of contract change orders, issue modifications to subcontracts and purchase orders after owner acceptance, and update the budget in the summary cost report.
    • Manage payments to subcontractors and vendors, including reviewing and approving schedules of value, pay requisitions, invoices, and required insurance coverage.
    • Address subcontractor and supplier performance issues, including documentation, default notices, and replacements as necessary.
    • Review and monitor project progress, quality, and safety, making corrections as required to comply with contract and company policies and procedures.
    • Play an active role in the development of construction personnel through mentoring and on the job training, including performance management.
    • Oversee project close out tasks and any warranty work.


    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
    • Ten or more years of experience in construction, design, or management.
    • Expertise in managing resources, including budgets, schedules, and materials in an environment with multiple competing demands.
    • Knowledge of estimating, construction methods, engineering, equipment, and technology.
    • A solid understanding of safety procedures.
    • Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to travel as per project requirements.

    Requirements:


    • This role requires ordinary ambulatory skills, including the ability to visit various locations, and perform tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting light to medium weights of 10 50 pounds.
    It demands good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity. You'll need to sit, reach, talk, hear, and handle visual tasks such as using a keyboard, operating equipment, and reading application/form information.
