- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, inclusive of sitting, standing and bending, pushing, pulling or moving of objects and residents.
- Works in conjunction with the Wellness Director and Case Manager to assure the needs of the residents are being maintained.
- Receives daily work assignments from supervisor to assist in resident care.
- Receives verbal report from previous shift and provides verbal report to next shift regarding special events; changes in resident's condition.
- Notifies Wellness Director or Supervisor of unusual daily occurrences
- Immediately reports resident incidents/accidents to Wellness Director or Supervisor.
- Identifies emergency situations and responds with appropriate measures including immediately notifying Wellness Director or Supervisor.
- Reports to the Wellness Director or Supervisor any observation of unusual appearance of behavior of residents (i.e. skin changes, restlessness, lethargy, mobility, change in continence, etc.)
- Respects resident privacy by knocking and waiting for acknowledgement before entering residents room, by pulling curtains or blinds and by shutting doors to provide privacy when treating residents or assisting with ADL's; treats residents with dignity; explains procedures to resident before assisting him/her.
- Maintains confidentiality of necessary information.
- Manages stress and unusual occurrences related to resident care.
- Thinks and acts calmly and logically to meet unusual occurrences of the job.
- Displays sound judgment in decision-making.
- Shows initiative in seeking solutions to solve problems.
- Looks for innovative ways to solve problems.
- Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the community.

We have full time, part time and flexible per diem schedules with room for growth in all five of our communities.
The starting pay is $17 an hour.POSITION SUMMARY:
