    Purpose:


    The Marketing & Communication Manager is responsible for performing Marketing and Communication related duties working on a professional level and works closely with senior marketing and communications management in supporting various marketing projects.

    This position fulfills responsibilities in the following functional areas:

    marketing strategy and reporting, brand development, social media and digital advertising, community relations, campaign management and copywriting for both internal and external communications.

    Marketing
    Assist with the development and writing of marketing materials, such as plans, recommendations, and presentations.
    In collaboration with the VP of Marketing and Communication, create reports and data to help determine overall marketing strategy.
    Ensure marketing ideas coincide with the company's brand and mission statement.
    Assist in developing market research studies.
    Assist in creation and implementation of marketing programs and campaigns for products and services of the organization.
    Collaborate with sales and other departments to implement new and modified programs and initiatives.
    Monitor the performance of marketing programs to guide current and future strategies.
    Devise innovative marketing strategies.
    Track and report on competitors' marketing activities.
    Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.
    Communications/Branding

    Assist with shaping and communicating the company's vision and mission.
    Manages and coordinates with vendors on social media sites related to company and communities' campaigns and posts.

    Generate, edit, publish, and share text, images, video, or content that builds meaningful connections with residents, families, employees, and the public at large.

    Set up and optimize company pages within various platforms to increase visibility of company's social content.
    Create and maintain company newsletters for employees.
    Promotes the company in a positive manner, seeking feel-good stories and promoting them.
    Ensures all content and publications meet the proper privacy guidelines.
    Assists with compliance related to brand guidelines and company style guides.
    Vendor Management

    In coordination with VP of Marketing, work with outside resources and vendors having to do with marketing of company and communities.

    Customer Service, Communication, Training
    Provides excellent customer service support to internal and external customers.
    Develops communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's marketing platforms and other initiatives.
    Assists with the creation and implementation of Marketing policies and procedures, manuals, and forms.
    Creates and conducts presentations using audiovisual tools, including PowerPoint and videos as requested.
    Provides training and support to marketing staff, home office associates, and the community staff as needed.
    The job description provides a framework for the job; other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

    Qualifications:
    A High School Diploma
    A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or Marketing
    3+ years experience in a marketing/communications role
    Project Management experience related to internal/external marketing campaigns.

    Skills and Abilities:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent people skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
    Excellent organizational skills and diligence
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    Knowledge of marketing principles and experience with campaign design/development, and implementation/management
