    Description

    Our client is seeking a proficient and reliable individual to join their team as an IT Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project management services for the IT Department and the organization as a whole. Your primary duties will include ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion of projects, as well as acting as a liaison between the IT Department and other business units.

    Reporting to the Director of Applications, this full-time position, based at the NYC headquarters, requires a proactive approach and offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical insurance, 401(k), paid parental leave, dependent care, flexible work schedules, and entertainment perks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, organize, and execute technical and application/software projects.
    • Coordinate production releases and delegating tasks while providing progress updates.
    • Serve as a coordinator during project intake and conduct risk assessments.
    • Facilitate meetings to discuss project goals, progress, budgeting, and status reports.
    • Transition projects to business units upon completion.
    • Handle requirements gathering, including vendor qualifications and business documentation.
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects, reporting progress to executive staff.
    • Document instructions for end-users and assist in testing phases.
    • Coordinate change requests and adjustments during projects.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
    • 4+ years of relevant experience in project management or IT management.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
    • Proficiency in various operating systems, network administration, and service desk administration.
    • Excellent communication skills for team coordination and technical issue explanation.
    • Ability to manage teams and define project responsibilities.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software preferred).
    • Understanding of the software development life cycle.
    • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
    • Detail-oriented and conscientious.
