    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    As our Business Development Representative, you will work as an ambassador for our company. You are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers. You will learn about our services and products so you can effectively present them to others – both our suite of Utility Billing Services and our submetering systems. You must build trust and provide support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales. You will work with the Sales Manager to build a great team and process to effectively serve our customers. You will:

    • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
    • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them
    • Ability to communicate technical details with customers and internal team
    • Sell the company's products or services to customers
    • Proactively go through the current client base to grow our billing services accounts
    • Work to increase our billing services capture rate from equipment only sales
    • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts using our CRM Software
    • Identify, investigate, research, and target prospects within property management and other multi-unit industry groups
    • Conduct research and data collection to understand a customer's specific needs
    • Answer incoming leads (calls, emails, etc.) to help clients find a solution with our products
    • Provide support to Sales Manager to help with calls, inquiries, and proposals
    • Support the sales team in developing pipeline process and effectively follow up with prospects
    • Manage deadlines and communicate consistently with team members and customers in a clear and concise manner
    • Organize and present data to team members and potential customers
    • Travel to meet prospects and customers
    • Attend trade shows and events to build relationships
    • Make outbound calls and emails for prospects
    • Help in performing monthly webinars and lunch + learns for our customers

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Having a well-developed phone presence and a high comfort level in initiating conversations is essential to fulfilling the daily duties. Aside from a social and positive personality, you must be a self-starter and proactive problem solver. We are looking for:

    • Experience with CRM software and Property Management experience is a plus

    COMPENSATION

    This is a full-time position at our Kent office with opportunities to work from home available. Our benefits include: Comprehensive health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and 401K with matching.

    • Job Type: Full-time
    • Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per year (non-commissioned role)
    • Remote Work: 3-4 days a week from home
