Description
The Director of Marketing is responsible for marketing strategies that ensure the continued success of Little Creek Casino Resort.
The Director of Marketing designs, facilitates and executes the annual marketing calendar, marketing plan and budget for Little Creek Casino Resort, to ensure optimum profitability.
This person is responsible for the brand, market analysis and growth strategy; database, advertising, entertainment, digital media, social media, mobile and direct mail programs, as well as overseeing the strategic positioning of marketing initiatives, guest retention, competitor analysis, and new promotional approaches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and monitor strategic marketing plans, both short and long range, to achieve Casino/Resort objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
Responsible for forecasting and generating department budget. Maximize profit opportunities.
Ensure department operates within fiscal and operational guidelines.
Direct and manage various agencies not limited to adverting, media, entertainment, digital, public relations and direct marketing agencies
Develop strategies and executional programs for Player Development function to insure VIP programs are generating new high end players, maintaining top tier player relationships and reactivating high end players.
Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tacticsMentor, lead and manage marketing staff to create career partway growth and maintain bench strength in the marketing department.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Develop advertising plans and media strategies, including traditional and digital media.
Arrange for creative advertising materials to be produced within the scope of approved budget.
Exhibit a working knowledge of entertainment, including name talent, on site and themed events to insure that expenditures for entertainment meet profitability guidelines.
Statistically analyze marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase profitability.Provide post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs to the Executive Management team.
Effectively cooperate and coordinate activities (such as events, marketing strategies, promotions and Guest Service training for all team members) with other managers to insure a cohesive interdepartmental team relationship.
Routinely evaluates operating budget to actual expenses.Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Marketing or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing leadership role in the gaming industry required.
Casino database knowledge required.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and concepts, including market research, branding, segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives.
Proven ability to think strategically and develop long-term marketing plans that will drive growth and profitability.
Maintains a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with marketing hotel services as well as convention sales and service, preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be able to pass a background check.
Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe's insurance.
