    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Builds and maintain effective working relationships with purchasing team members in order to support order entry for inventory or multiple projects.
    • Assist in reviewing requisitions with all Buyer for materials within the Company's enterprise resource planning system; analyzes each item for quantity, specifications and delivery requirements; develops and investigates sources; issues request for quotation for those items not covered by existing arrangements.
    • Proactively maintains the purchasing folders with accurate files, and updates the purchasing data in (pricing, lead times, catalog, min / max) our ERP System.
    • Assist in identifying if needed based on quality, price and delivery; contacts potential suppliers and assist in obtain quotes on most favorable terms reviewed with all Buyer.
    • Assist with running need to order reports and issuing purchase orders, with a basic knowledge of understanding allocations, price, lead time, and inventory requirements.
    • Assist in identifying best source by evaluating quotation or by application of an existing arrangement or by approved procedures with all Buyer.
    • Available to execute simple RFQ's based on supplier's economic manufacturing quantity and ProMach manufacturing order quantity and supplier lead time.
    • Order entry of commodity items for indirect goods and catalog items.
    • Performs weekly follow-up on open orders to ensure vendor compliance with terms of purchase and delivering on time.
    • Assists with data mining to support Purchasing Key Performance Indicators.
    • Additional tasks as assigned by Purchasing Manager.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

These components, along with local and national compensation survey data, contribute to determining a candidate's potential starting rate of pay. Total compensation includes your base salary, commissions, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan with company match. There is no waiting period for benefits – you are eligible on your first day of employment. Base Salary Range: $ $25.00 an hour.
