**Responsibilities**

Reporting directly to the Operations Services Supervisor, the Customer Service Technician provides customer service and internal resolution for customer's needs. This position works with production, estimating, and logistics to assist with excellent customer service, as well as timely production, packaging and shipping of all requested products. This position will also assist with purchasing of all stock inventory, as well as some quality control of final product.

Responsible for coordinating the fulfillment of incoming customer requests via phone and/or email

Field incoming customer service calls and coordinate internal resolution of issues with production, sales, project management and accounting departments as needed

Manage pending orders, product movement and data entry in ERP system and internal programs

Coordinate with shipping and logistics to facilitate product movement of orders and pull orders based on incoming customer requests

Coordinate customer supplied product management to include tracking and accounting of received product, security of product, distribution of product during assembly and maintaining inventory levels throughout the day

Become a product expert and understand each customers needs to provide real, effective solutions and deliver exceptional customer service

. **Experience and skills for success in this role:**

Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to understand how our products operate and troubleshoot the issue and recommend a solution for the customer

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-3 years progressively responsible experience in Manufacturing, Customer Service, Retail, or Product Fulfillment

Maintain effectiveness of varying environments with different tasks, responsibilities, and people. Set priorities and strategically identify issues, underlying problems, and potential solutions to develop plan of action

Proven leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

Proficient computer skills including a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office/NAV applications

Forklift certification or the ability to become certified

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively across multiple platforms with other employees of the organization

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Bachelor Degree or 2 to 5 years related experience in a manufacturing setting or customer service role

Prior experience with e-commerce or ability to learn online customer portal systems

Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

Prior experience with an ERP and/or order entry system

Experience with an After-Market Parts Program

Experience with installation or working with remote installers

Experience with purchasing
