Universal Metrics, LLC is a growing metal fabrication company that features job-shop creativity combined with small-large quantity manufacturing capabilities. UMI's corporate facility is located in Menomonee Falls, with the mobility division located in New Berlin, WI.

We work closely with our customers to provide high quality made in the USA pre-fabricated parts and products designed to withstand the rigors of what will be thrown at them.

The Customer Service Representative supports the holistic customer experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, problems and complaints regarding products, billing, etc.
  • Address and resolve complaints and make recommendations regarding the return of product
  • Provide customer reports to management on sales, delivery and satisfaction.
  • Become knowledgeable in UMI's services, industry terminology, company operations and capabilities.
  • Enter customer purchase orders. Create sales order. Send order confirmations to customer.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding the status of open orders to customers.
  • Provide inside support to the outside sales representatives as needed.
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  • Work with the Customer Service Manager to expedite customer orders. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
  • Biweekly customer sales account cleanup.
  • Support the Engineering Change process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:


  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Three to Five years of related experience or a combination of education and experience

Experience:


  • Proficient in administrative and documentation procedures.
  • Knowledge of customer services ethics, principles and procedures.
  • Should have great communication skills: both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure when communicating with customer.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as open orders, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Should demonstrate good attention to detail, listening skills, versatility and multitasking.
  • Individual must have strong work ethic, be highenergy, and detailoriented.
  • Must be competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel for generating written reports and spreadsheet. Prefer with previous experience using ERP software.

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
