Overview:
Burke Candy is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide assistance with their inquiries
• Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and company policies
• Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
• Provide product recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the customer's shopping experience
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Perform basic math calculations to process payments and provide accurate change

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in basic math calculations for cash handling purposes
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Technical sales knowledge is an asset
• Ability to work well in a teamoriented setting
• Familiar with Quickbooks.
