SUMMARY
:
The Parking Services Coordinator provides quality guest service and directing employees and guest through the parking facility.
This position works closely with the Parking Manager and Parking Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Provides administrative support including updating parking accounts, billing, and approved refunds.
Reviews accounts receivable, sends invoice reminder notices, and customer follow up correspondence.
Programs and issues parking access cards to employees and customers.
Collects and disables parking access cards for cancelled parking accounts and terminated employees.
Routinely assess the accuracy and reliability of the parking system.
Performs quality assurance, reviews customer accounts for completeness and accuracy.
Assist in providing training and follow up training.
Periodically performs inspections of parking facility for safety, cleanliness, damage, etc
.
Responds to public inquiries, resolves complaints in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner.
Coordinates the designs for parking signage posted for garage operations.
Perform minor maintenance and repair on all parking equipment.
Responds effectively and immediately to parking incidents; broken gates, equipment, traffic jams, etc.
Assists with special
event parking programs
, projects and/or additional duties as directed by manager.
Performs Parking Ambassador duties when needed.
Utilize appropriate safety procedures and practices for assigned duties.
Maintain adherence to FSP policy and procedures.
Required to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
1
-3 years customer service experience, parking garage experience a plus.
Cash handling procedures, recordkeeping and filing methods.
Ability to communicate on the
two-way radios, phones and able to be understood.
Work well under pressure.
Ability to analyze complex customer problems and develop workable solutions.
Knowledge of computer and technology skills of parking equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter.
Strategic thinking and a
bility to multi-task.
Ability to work various shifts as needed to cover shifts as well as for events and concerts.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands
Assigned duties are primarily accomplished in Fremont Street Parking Garage.
Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform the duties of this job in outside weather conditions including but not limited to cold weather and very hot weather.
Ability to work in an environment that varies noise levels from low to loud depending on the event or concert.
