Sr. Product Manager - San Francisco, United States - Authentic8
Description
We are a leading cybersecurity company with multiple offices (San Francisco and Redwood City, CA; Herndon, VA; and Washington, D.C.) working to fundamentally disrupt the way organizations deliver and access the web, as well as conduct digital investigations.
More than 700 government agencies and commercial enterprises trust Authentic8's 100% cloud-native, Silo Web Isolation Platform to protect their most at-risk data and missions.
Silo is designed ground-up with zero-trust principles, delivered via globally-scaled infrastructure, and configurable to solve a wide range of security challenges.
Our flagship product, Silo for Research, is the market-leading solution for conducting secure and anonymous digital investigations and intelligence work across the surface, deep and dark web.
We have an immediate opening for a Sr.Product Manager, located in any of:
San Francisco, CA, Redwood City, CA, Washington, DC or Toronto, Canada.
This is an impactful PM role that offers ownership over our web security portfolio, as well as components of our broader platform, including our admin interfaces and APIs.
Those would be your "majors", but everyone on our team has "minors" and pitches in as needed. This role will allow you to flex both your inbound and your outbound PM muscles. You'll be acting as a hub between engineering, marketing, sales and customers.
You will drive success of the product portfolio by executing the product strategy and enabling all other functions in accordance with it.
You will play an integral role in shaping the company's strategic direction and realizing its potential.Who we are looking for:
A hands-on PM who wants responsibility at the product and platform level, not just the feature/functional level
Someone that can toggle between/balance business/market needs and product/technology details
Someone that loves working in an agile manner - adjusting course based on new information is something you understand as an inevitability, not something to resist
Someone that loves to interact with customers and prospects to both tell our story and uncover unmet needs
A Product Owner who is responsible for driving near-to-long-term product backlog priorities, ensuring that the engineering team has the information, context, and details needed to create the best platform experience possible
A hands-on, technical product manager with a solid technology background who is looking to go deep in a technology area, speak to the details and hold down technical conversations with engineers and highly technical customers
A colleague who wants to collaborate with his/her peers across the company, pitch in as needed, and share in the broader team's success
A speaker, writer, and translator fluent in the languages of customers and their requirements, effectively communicating them at the appropriate level to other functional areas like engineering, marketing, sales, finance and customer success
Someone that has been a PM in the enterprise SaaS context, and preferably has a cybersecurity background
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in enterprise SaaS, preferably with focus on cybersecurity, or related areas
3+ years of relevant product management experience, both inbound and outbound
A bachelor's or master's degree in CS (or related discipline)Experience building and evangelizing SaaS solutions in both federal and commercial spaces would be a strong plus
Ability to present effectively to large audiences, keynotes, webinars
Demonstrated ability to execute on a vision and strategy, with a proven track record of delivering market-leading solutions and developing new products with commercial success
Ability to own/maintain/run demos and enable go-to-market teams
Cloud and/or cyber security domain expertise - good understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud domains
Experience working with MSPs (Managed Service Providers) or MSSPs (Managed Security Service Providers) is a plus
Experience with SaaS Business Models, especially as it relates to transactional, usage-based business models, is a plus
Compensation:
$150,000 - $190,000 (location and experience based) + bonus & equity
