    Title: Human Resources Generalist

    Location: Kennett Square, PA

    Duration: 24 Months Contract

    Job Description:

    Terms of Employment


    • W2 Contract, 24 months


    • The position is hybrid - expect to be in the office two-three day per week (some flexibility is offered).


    • This position involves about 20% regional travel to support two business units.


    • Office Location: Kennett Square, PA.


    • Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

    Overview


    • Our client is seeking a Strategic HR Generalist to assist the HR Department with various projects related to Benefits Administration, Recruiting, Compensation, Safety Programs, etc. As a Strategic HR Generalist, you will provide direct support to the HR Director.


    • This position is specifically being brought in to augment the current HR staff with special projects or peak time of need.

    Required Skills & Experience


    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and 5+ years of experience in any HR related field [An additional 4 years of experience is needed in lieu of a Bachelor's degree]


    • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR softwares. [Client specific HRIS training will be provided]


    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Team and Outlook. [Microsoft is the client's communication platform]


    • Need to have a strategic mindset and strong experience in consulting with leaders pertaining to employee relations.


    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.


    • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including employment law and regulations.


    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.


    • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.


    • Familiarity with compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processes.


    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


    • Knowledge of best practices in performance management and employee development.


    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees.


    • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing HR needs and priorities.
