    Description

    The HR Generalist will have a solid understanding of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

    Location: West Chester, PA (fully onsite)

    Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

    Direct Hire

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
    • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
    • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on various HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
    • Conduct regular training sessions for employees and managers on HR-related topics, such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance feedback.
    • Collaborate with the HR team on special projects and initiatives as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 1+ years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on HR generalist functions.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and FLSA.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.
