- Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducting/acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Administering and executing human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handling employmentrelated inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attending and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Working with the President to develop compensation plan that aligns with position descriptions.
- Maintaining HRIS, assisting with Payroll and 401K.
- Working with departmental managers to develop an employee training, retention and career growth path program.
- Partnering with department managers and administer yearend employee evaluations.
- Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and nonmandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, antiharassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least three years of human resources management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
