- Process customer orders & inquiries via email, phone and fax.
- Track customer orders by using the computer system and working with other departments.
- Maintain customer records by scanning documentation and updating account information.
- Investigate customer concerns and provide prompt resolution.
- Must be able to meet daily deadlines and provide timely follow-up.
- General clerical duties include computer data entry, documentation scanning, occasional switchboard relief, and filing.
- Process credit memos and carrier claims.
- Maintain customer service manual & documentation forms as necessary
- Maintain & update make & hold/floor stock summary
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least two to three years of prior customer service experience is required.
- Must possess proficient and professional email/telephone etiquette.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Outlook (or similar), Excel, and Word.
- Must possess accurate math skills.
- Must be well organized and have a strong ability to multi-task.
- The position may have minimal overtime.
- Reliable and predictable attendance is required.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to speak and write clear English.
- The ability to speak and write in Spanish is a plus.
