    Your Role and Responsibilities

    Customer Engagement and Relationship Management


    Conceptualize and implement strategies for growth of business opportunities and achieve consistent profitability and bottom-line profitability through effective Business Area management.

    Grow IBM footprint in the supported applications and exploring avenues for increasing IBM's presence in upcoming areas.


    Bring continuous process improvements, assess, and implement the new tools and methods, which will in turn improve the team productivity resulting in cost savings to Client.

    Delivery Management


    Participate in Client strategy meetings to understand the demand pipeline and staff the IBM team to meet the client need.

    Work with the team to provide insight to upcoming projects and Business Areas.

    Review demand, capacity, and work plan with Project Managers.


    Oversee the development of Project Plans & oversight of the overall work breakdown structure and delivery progress against the plan.

    Identifying, resolving /isolating areas of obstructions to catalyst project delivery within defined time & cost parameters.

    Manage project risks, issues, and escalations.

    Financial Management & Create, maintain, and lead a high performing account team.

    Responsible for providing Monthly, Quarterly, and yearly financial forecast to IBM Project Management Office (PMO).

    Also track the project financial against the forecast, adjust and report the variances to ensure that the IBM revenue is meeting the forecast, which is a key business need to meet the IBM performance and stakeholder's expectation.

    Review utilization of the team and drive initiatives for improving productive utilization.

    Responsible for project financials including estimating and tracking of budget variance. Invoicing and tracking the actual against the planned and ensuring the revenue, profit is within the plan. Recommend and take corrective action in case of deviation in financial indicators.

    People Management


    Authorized to recruit, hire, and terminate employees and to recommend other personnel actions including empowering, mentoring, and rewarding his team.

    Responsible for promotion of employees and year end performance appraisal for team.

    Responsible for Salary hikes, Career progression/ band progression, GDP (Growth Driven Profit) for his employees

    Setup reward system and recognize individual employees and team performance.


    Responsible for review and approval of leave, reimbursement requests, work claims in accordance with IBM policies, and ensures allocation of required infrastructure to team members.

    Uses IBM Professional Marketplace tool (used for hiring), Intranet Labor Claim (managing time sheet) and Checkpoint tool (performance appraisal).

    Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs

The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
