Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and build the relationship between IBM and Client Directors and business team to ensure smooth delivery and account growth.
  • Conducts weekly one on one meeting initiatives with client senior executives and IT directors to review the progress of major projects and business domains.
  • Conceptualize and implement strategies for growth of business opportunities and achieve consistent profitability and bottomline profitability through effective Business Area management.
  • Provide executive oversight for multiple complex projects and ensure successful completion within the approved budget.
  • Set up appropriate delivery model so that the team located in multiple delivery centers across the globe are well connected and for efficient project delivery.
  • Participate in Client IT strategy meetings to understand the demand pipeline and staff the IBM team.
  • Provide oversight to the projects managed and monitor the health of the projects. Take corrective actions for projects not meeting service level agreements.
  • Responsible for overseeing and directing the project managers so that projects within the portfolio are delivered on time, to the agreed specification and within budget.
  • Responsible for providing Monthly, Quarterly, and yearly financial forecast to IBM Project Management Office (PMO). Also track the portfolio financials against the forecast, adjust and report the variances.
  • Responsible for portfolio financials including estimating and tracking of budget variance. Invoicing and tracking the actual against the planned and ensuring the revenue, profit is within the plan. Recommend and take corrective action in case of deviation in financial indicators.
  • Responsible for promotion of employees and year end performance appraisal for team.
  • Career progression/ band progression, GDP (Growth Driven Profit) sharing and Salary hikes and revision for employees in the team.
