    Description

    Position: Senior Litigation Legal Assistant

    Location: Portland, Oregon –Hybrid schedule: 60 days in the office for training, then 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

    Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 (Higher salary for candidates with 20+ years of experience)

    Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

    • Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents
    • Manage document production and distribution
    • File pleadings and documents with courts/agencies
    • Coordinate and manage projects, ensuring timely completion
    • Track and manage deadlines, follow docketing procedures
    • Manage client communications and conflict checks
    • Maintain and organize client files, assist with billing process

    Secondary Functions:

    • Provide backup support to other legal assistants/attorneys
    • Assist other areas within the firm as needed

    Education: Associate's degree preferred, HS Diploma or GED required.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 10 years of litigation experience
    • 2-3 years of prior legal assistant experience required
    • Proficient in proofreading and tracking deadlines
    • Comfortable with hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

    Benefits:
