As the Director of Demand Generation, you will define the strategic vision for and lead Federato's demand generation function.As the first demand marketing full-time hire, you will build the function and strategically plan all demand generation projects to help Federato meet marketing, sales and revenue goals.
You will champion integrated campaign concepts, and drive results-oriented thinking across the marketing organization. You will have a deep understanding of the sales funnel, and the campaign channels available to generate demand. This position will report into the VP of Marketing.You at Federato
Strategically plan all demand generation activities. Develop and execute the campaign strategy needed to drive lead generation and meet pipeline targets.
Define the appropriate mix of campaign elements (including account-based marketing, search, social, direct mail, email, webinars, events, content syndication, direct response online, etc.).
Work closely with the Sales and Customer teams to define lead requirements and create targeted marketing campaigns to drive pipeline development and revenue growth.
Own the implementation of ongoing nurturing campaigns to turn these prospects into qualified leads.Collaborate with the Content team and lead the execution of all strategic programs for customer acquisition.
Create and test campaign messages, landing pages, and lead nurturing to optimize conversions and lead quality.
Project manage implementation, and optimization of comprehensive marketing programs.
Implement metrics and reporting for programs, campaigns and pipeline results. Evaluate website analytics and make recommendations to optimize lead flow.
Consistently use data to iterate and improve marketing programs and results. Own the entire closed loop demand generation process, from initial awareness to hand-off to sales, and follow-up. Present results and recommendations for future campaigns.
Manage and develop the standards and best practices for campaigns, marketing operations, martech, and reporting.
Manage the budget for demand generation.
Build a high-performing team of demand marketers.
Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in growth and/or demand generation in technical/complex products, and 3+ years of people management experience.
Performance-oriented with a proven track record of building comprehensive reporting and dashboards, and driving data-driven optimization and investment decisions.
Deep experience with Hubspot & Salesforce. Hands-on experience with other martech tools like Marketo, Google Analytics, LinkedIn campaign manager, AdWords, ABM platforms, etc.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary.
Experience managing an internal team as well as demand gen and/or creative agencies.Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Background in insurance or fintech is a strong plus.
$160,000 - $230,000 a year
Base compensation described above.
