    Description
    Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking a Tax Operations Specialist in their Jersey City, NJ location

    Responsibilities:

    Work with tax ops to understand processes and systems that execute against regulatory requirementsPartner internally and with senior stakeholders to understand and identify change opportunitiesUnderstand the strategic Change agenda and assist in completing budgeted deliverablesAssist in creating JIRAs and document agreed upon requirements to enhance systems/processesProvide senior management reporting and status updatesManage and run the annual runbook for tax reporting to ensure tasks are assigned, completed and closedEscalate any obstacles that may hinder meeting Client communicated dates or regulatory deadlinesPerform all required testing of updates/enhancements to forms, files and processes etc.

    Manage any special handling requirements for clients inclusive of tax form amendments for clientsUpdate processes and procedures policy portal as requiredRequirements:
    Strong analytical skillset with the ability and desire to learn complex technical regulations, processes, and solutions3+ years of experience in program/ project management, process engineering or strategyExperience with Tax regulations and operational processesPrevious employee share plan and tax production background would be advantageousFamiliarity US reporting for global employee share plan requirementsSelf-motivated and eager to learnExcellent time management skills during tight deadlinesDevelop knowledge and expertise in the related Tax regulations, operational functions, and systemsProactively engage and collaborate with all co-workers globally to build positive rapport to contribute as an effective team member as measured by their feedbackAnalytical, accurate, and strong problem-solving skills essentialVocal ability to challenge business deficiencies identified through the tax production processAn ability to articulate issues both in verbal and written form to help aid swift resolutionComfortable with technology and technical concepts in a fast-paced changing environmentA deep belief in team success, collaboration and a willingness to adapt to continuous changeAn ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goals
