    Are you a strategic and creative problem solver? Do you enjoy creating compelling narratives and engaging content? Then, the Senior Content Marketing Manager position might be for you In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our content marketing strategy.

    Our organization has amazing data and research, this position will require someone who can make it exciting, encouraging people to engage with our programs, leading to increased lead generation.

    Experience partnering with demand generation and product marketing teams is a must. If you are a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of high-quality content, and believes in the power of collaboration, we want you to join our team

    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with performance insights, marketing funnel stages, competitive and market analysis, and organizational objectives

    Generate various forms of engaging content, including impact stories, landing pages, web copy, email messages, case studies, whitepapers, ebooks, and digital assets

    Repurpose content such as videos, webinars and research to increase brand visibility. Experience writing for video and interactive content is a plus

    Maintain the highest level of editorial standards for the content team, ensuring consistency with brand tone, messaging, and visuals

    Conduct content audits, identify gaps, run A/B tests, and optimize content to improve the customer journey, growing conversion and engagement metrics

    Stay up-to-date with industry-standard processes, regulatory requirements, competitor messaging, and customer challenges

    Lead and mentor a content team, including a writer and copy editor, encouraging their growth and improving their skill sets

    Optimally convey ideas and information with clarity and impact, encouraging an open and synergetic team environment

    Coordinate content roadmap, calendar, priorities, and timelines with collaborators

    Continuously champion, promote, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence at

    Collaborate on and contribute to organizational DEI efforts and goals


    Qualifications:
    A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is required

    7+ years in content marketing with a focus on crafting strategy

    2+ years of management experience

    Ability to strategize, conceptualize, build, and scale projects with a high degree of autonomy

    Passion for problem-solving and measuring efficiency through data-driven insights

    Expert-level organizational and analytical (ASK KIM-communication? Skill? operations? Understanding? what does this mean?)

    Impeccable writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail and expert verbal communication skills

    Ability to work collaboratively with partners, developers, and designers

    Lead with respect and empathy, crafting a positive and inclusive work culture.

    Working at

    team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home.

    We anticipate paying between $85, ,000 for this full time position based on the education, experience and skill level of the individual we hire.

    In addition to your base salary Waterford has an annual bonus program.
