    Job Summary:


    The Regional Sales Manager goal is to build meaningful relationships to drive value creation, profitability, and market share in the Water/Wastewater & Transportation markets.

    The ideal candidate will adopt a consultative sales strategy, placing strong emphasis on nurturing and expanding relationships, opportunities, and effectively converting potential leads into successful sales within these specific markets.

    Success in this position hinges on proactive sales efforts, close collaboration across departments, self-motivation, and solution-oriented selling. The candidate will demonstrate a proven hybrid sales approach that encompasses both direct engagement and channel partners. The candidate should exhibit comfort in engaging with individuals at all levels within a customer's organizational hierarchy.

    Requirements:
    Travel will be required throughout assigned region.

    Develop & execute a sales strategy for new opportunities and expand existing customer opportunities in territory.

    Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand market reach and revenue streams.

    Establish and maintain a sales pipeline for all leads & opportunities.

    Maintain a high-level of customer satisfaction in all sales transactions.

    Meet and exceed company profit expectations on all sales transactions.

    Attend industry trade shows.

    Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

    Build exceptional internal relationships with all departments and divisions.


    Keep accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow up activities within assigned territory.

    Maintain a professional image as a representative of TESCO and adhere to Company Values with excellent communication and collaboration.

    Collaborate with internal teams on estimates, specifications, project layouts, and drawings.

    Attend customer related meeting, job site visits, and collaborate on designs.

    Develop product/service PowerPoint presentations showcasing our range of products and services.

    Manage and submit travel expenses in a timely manner.

    Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss various projects and sales activities and initiatives.

    Fulfill other assigned duties.


    Demonstrated Skills and Knowledge:
    Possesses a positive, resilient, and flexible attitude.

    Excellent listening, questioning, negotiating, handling objections, qualifying, and closing skills.

    Ability to develop and deliver presentations over the telephone, video conference and in person.

    Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.

    Attended or obtained certificates from professional sales training and/or technical school are a plus.

    Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM).

    Education and Experience


    Required:
    Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or 5 years of Cap-Ex sales experience in an outside sales capacity.

    Ability to travel up to 50% with an overnight stay.

    Desired:
    Control Systems integration sales is a plus.


    Physical Demands:
    Must be able to walk for short to long periods of time for job walk purposes.

    Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and reach.

    Required to visit public and private utility plants, construction sites, and other off-site locations.


    Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.

    We may pay more or less than the range based on the person's qualifications.

    In good faith we believe the range is what we will pay for this role at the time of the posting and may change in the future.

    In addition, Tesco offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vacation, holidays, and 100% 401K match of your contributions up to 4% of your earnings .
