    Head of Sales

    The company develops and deploys utility-scale energy storage solutions designed to transform the world's

    approach to sustainable energy storage. The Company's comprehensive offerings include proprietary

    gravity-based storage, battery storage, and green hydrogen energy storage technologies. Each storage

    solution is supported by the Companys hardware technology-agnostic energy management system

    delivers customized short-and-long-duration energy storage solutions to help utilities, independent power

    producers, and large industrial energy users significantly reduce levelized energy costs while maintaining

    power reliability. Utilizing eco-friendly materials with the ability to integrate waste materials for beneficial

    reuse,Their gravity-based energy storage technology is facilitating the shift to a circular

    economy while accelerating the global clean energy transition for its customers.

    About the role

    You will lead our Western Hemisphere sales team, which is currently 2 professionals, and help grow the

    team to 6-8 people in 2024; you will also leverage your relationships and network to initiate and close

    energy storage deals directly. The primary Key Performance Indicator is revenue generated by you and

    your team. You will report directly to the Chief Product/Commercial Officer.

    What you will do

    Negotiate and close deals.

    Improve our sales strategy and communicate to your team and cross functionally.

    Lead a small and growing team of sales professionals; hire 3-5 people in 2024.

    Nurture and expand your robust network within renewable energy storage and generation.

    Lead customer engagements and manage key accounts and deliverables.

    Deepen your understand of our clients.

    Champion the value and solutions we provide clients.

    Attend industry events and represent our brand as a front-line sales leader.

    Conduct detailed due diligence on public RFP and pursue opportunities as appropriate.

    Manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities using established CRM processes.

    Collaborate and partner frequently with commercial, engineering, project execution, and

    operations professionals across Energy Vault.

    What a qualified candidate should possess

    Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred; higher degrees are a bonus.

    10+ years of sales experience in our industry.

    A career focus on energy storage sales to utilities, independent power producers, and/or large

    industrial customers.

    Leadership experience over sales teams.

    Similar satisfaction closing deals and training sales professionals to be better/close more.

    Excellent customer negotiation skills.

    Ardent drive to persevere, overcome obstacles, deeply understand our customers, and succeed.

    Proven track record formulating win-win proposals and closing large deals.

    Comfort in fast-paced environments; experience in public companies is a plus.
