The Information Technology Services Division is seeking a customer service centered candidate for the Tier 1 Support Team. This position serves a vital role supporting staff throughout the department. The IT Operations Support Technician Senior provides in-person, telephone, and electronic messaging technical support. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal business partners.
If relocating to Idaho, the Department of Health & Welfare does not reimburse the cost of relocating. The department does not sponsor anyone with a work visa.

Provides a wide range of technical assistance to system users
Installs software and hardware, including non-standard configurations
May work as part of a team or work independently on small projects with supervision
Resolves diverse problems and queries received from users or the help desk requiring troubleshooting for solutions
Supports testing and documentation activities

Experience working with network systems, evaluating and resolving computer, system, and user problems including compatibility conflicts, application operations, hardware malfunctions, and telecommunications problems.
