    Senior Manager, Retail Operations

    Overview

    Member of Delvaux Americas Corporate Team reporting to CEO Americas, with functional reporting to Global Head of Retail Operations and Business Performance. As a close cross-functional partner to Regional/HQ stakeholders and as a strategic ally to Delvaux Americas' business partners, the Senior Manager Retail Operations serves as an Ambassador of the Maison in designing and maintaining a culture of Operational Excellence.

    The Senior Manager Retail Operations leads the Operations and Distribution Strategy for the region in support of the commercial strategy. Accountable to the key objectives of defining the region's operational governance as part of a strong operating structure for scalable growth; leading the region's inventory management and retail environment strategy; and nurturing an omni mindset for an evolving culture that bridges various retail channels and platforms.

    The Senior Manager Retail Operations will partner with Delvaux's Retail Performance, Store Planning, and OMNI teams in designing the retail excellence roadmap and 3-year plan, aligned in the Maison's regional ambition and commitment to offer an exemplary client experience.

    A CLIENT-CENTRIC RETAIL LEADER

    • Designs and delivers Retail Operations training for new and existing employees, focused on the knowledge, mindset and teamwork that fosters operational excellence in a client-centric culture
    • A subject-matter expert on Retail policies, processes, and systems

    • Systematically improves operational efficiency through overall inventory management including inventory controls, product flow, receiving and transfer compliance, and stock takes. Execute and implement several Delvaux procedures compliant with group policies and support boutiques in their administrative flows
    • Evaluates business performance and offers analysis to effectively streamline reporting (evolving existing forms, reports and dashboards) by understanding the users' objectives and ways of working, with the aim of optimizing productivity and avoiding data inconsistencies
    • Works closely with Finance for P&L oversight of operations expense, cap-ex, and vendor management
    • Works closely with Internal Control and other cross-functional departments to develop and update retail policies and procedures, and implement efficient governance/workflow processes for auditing
    • Engages with the Delvaux Americas' Leadership team on Retail Performance and Special Projects initiatives
    • Supports the retail network through scheduled visits and virtual methods for partner meetings, new store openings, team training and ongoing protection of standards
    • Key partner to Delvaux Store Leadership and Concession Partner Leadership
    • Mentor and direct point of contact to Delvaux Operations Supervisors in store
    • Monitors the execution of special projects and staff sales to drive client engagement and sales performance
    • Works closely with the Project Managers, Store Planning teams and Architects of Delvaux and Richemont
    • Leads by example and enables a client-centric environment, serving as a role model for current and future Leadership

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 8-10 years of related work experience
    • Knowledgeable and passionate in Retail Performance & Operations Standards including inventory management, after sales, logistics, and omni
    • High experience in retail operations and business analytics
    • Relationships-focused, values collaboration and teamwork by contributing excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
    • Performance minded, decisive and detail oriented with a high sense of accountability
    • Strategic thinker, able to balance short-, mid-, and long-term vision with timely and effective execution
    • Agile and curious, strong project management skills with the ability to engage cross-functional partners for streamlined solutions
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Working knowledge of SAP

    Expected Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
