Our customers stretch over three main channels: construction distributors, steel fabricators, and DOT.
Job Description:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will generate revenue by selling our products to businesses within your assigned territory. While our primary focus is on custom anchor bolts and manufactured fasteners, you must also promote complementary products and solutions to meet our customers' needs. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities. You will work closely with our internal sales and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
Collaborate with the internal sales team to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
