Job Duties :

• Ensuring all customer freight is covered, dispatched, monitored from receipt to completion.
• Analysis of “pooled” freight lanes to minimize cost/lower carbon emissions in compliance with company's B-Corp. initiative.

• Proactively lowered pool breaks (7.20% to 3.8%) from 2021 to 2023, via analysis and upgrading
  the algorithm to be more effective in “pooling freight; thus, increasing profit and CM for 
  company and carrier sales agents.
• Frequent quoting of new lanes and/or established lanes based on capacity trends.
• Developed capacity solutions to effectively support customer strategies.
• Sourcing new carriers and customers to establish consistent lanes.
• Trained and mentored new hire associates both in person and remotely.
• Studied market trends, seasonality with focus to accommodate customer’s needs.
• Provided consistent and exceptional service levels to contracted carriers and internal customers.
• Microsoft proficient, ERP/SAP software.
  Responsible for all customer complaints or queries in an efficient manner.
• Actively managing subcontractors to ensure that they perform in line with their contractual agreements.
• Visiting key clients to build relationships and identify their key needs.
• Supervising the completion of all checks and documentation required by law.
• Monitoring and tracking the flow of goods into the warehouse.
• Keeping up to date all relevant documentation, vehicle logbooks, fuel consumption records & servicing protocols.
• Negotiating costs with suppliers, couriers and other third parties.
• Regularly liaising with companies’ fleet of drivers.
• Preparing paperwork for regulatory bodies and audits.
• Using the latest tracking software to document, track and locate freight status.
