    Description

    Summary



    This position is located in Field Operations Directorate,Southeast Regional Office.

    As an Operations Research Analyst, you will performs a wide range of operations research and analysis activities in support of the regional office. These activities include qualitative and quantitative analysis to assist senior leaders in decision-making and problem solving operational issues..



    Duties

    • Collects and studies data to reveal ways to improve a business, organization or government entity to enhance
      operational effectiveness.
    • Conducts analytical studies and research using advanced statistical techniques, using reporting programs which
      measure the activities of the agency.
    • Ensures the attainment of statistical data and the use of collection systems to satisfy immediate, mid-range, and long term statistical data collection requirements
    • Serves as an expert in the area of data management for the forecasting and analyses of data and will make
      recommendations to senior level management accordingly.
    • Responsible for designing reports to include tools that can help those involved easily understand the data, including
      complex and interactive charts, graphs, and tables.
