Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Participating in analysis and study plans based on critical questions/problem statements
  • Researching and learning military systems, military operations, and military tactics
  • Simulation, Modeling and Analysis (MS&A) of military systems and scenarios in digital environments
  • Analyzing simulation results using data analytics to help draw meaningful conclusions
  • Participating in trade studies and performing statistical analysis
  • Participating in research efforts and learning analytical techniques with research methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Eligible for a DoD secret clearance
  • Modeling, simulation, or scripting experience using software tools
  • Problem solving skills with an eagerness to learn
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university

Desired Skills:


  • Active DoD secret clearance, investigation within 5 years
  • Operations Research (OR) or experience in computerbased analytical tools
  • Modeling and simulation experience in MATLAB, Python, AFSIM, Brawler, Suppressor, ESAMS, or similar
  • Software development experience (C++, Git, Gitlab)
  • Knowledge of radar, electronic warfare, infrared, or communication systems (#
    MFCVET)
  • Advanced degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.


Clearance Level:
Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time

Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.


Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
