    Simplot Company is a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.

    Summary As a Global Finance Optimization Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the finance transformation of our organization.

    You will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to implement strategies to optimize financial systems and processes thru process standardization and advanced technology.

    Technologies may include but not limited to generative AI, machine learning and robotics process automation.

    This role requires a strong background in finance processes, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, with a specific focus on technology, project management, and change management.

    We need an individual that is well organized and can drive for results.


    Key Responsibilities Process Improvement:
    + Leverage process automation tools and data-driven insights to assess current financial processes and procedures for inefficiencies. + Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using technology-driven solutions to streamline financial operations. + Apply change management principles to ensure smooth adoption of process changes across the organization. + Employ data analytics and financial software to identify cost-saving opportunities within the organization.


    Project Management and Change Management:
    + Apply project management methodologies to plan, execute, and oversee financial optimization projects. + Develop project plans, set objectives, indirectly manage resources, and monitor project progress. + Implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of financial changes and processes. Cross-functional Collaboration: + Collaborate effectively with various departments, leveraging data analytics and technical skills to drive financial optimization initiatives. + Communicate complex financial insights and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders using clear and data-driven presentations. + Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Typical Education + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, IT or related field (PMP or CPA certifications are a plus). Relevant Experience + 5+ years related experience and/or training + Proven experience in financial analysis, process improvement, and cost reduction strategies, with a strong emphasis on technical skills. + Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, reporting systems and/or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Excel, Blackline, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud). + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. + Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance or ability to research financial regulations and compliance documentation. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. + Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with a track record of successfully managing projects. + Experience in change management and the ability to lead teams through change initiatives. + Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role is a plus.
