    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    As a Tax Director/Partner specializing in Technology, you will have a key role in delivering strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients within the technology industry. You'll lead a team of tax professionals, offering expertise in navigating intricate tax regulations, optimizing tax structures, and ensuring compliance with laws. This role demands a deep insight into industry-specific tax matters, strong leadership abilities, and the knack for nurturing client relationships.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement customized tax strategies for technology clients, offering proactive advice on tax implications related to business operations and expansions.
    • Oversee the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including income tax and sales tax, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
    • Act as the main contact for clients, fostering strong relationships, understanding their businesses, and anticipating their needs.
    • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their professional growth.
    • Stay updated on tax legislation changes and industry trends affecting technology firms, applying technical knowledge to address tax issues.
    • Identify opportunities to expand the client base in the technology sector and develop strategic initiatives to boost market presence.
    • Assess tax risks for clients, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure tax planning complies with ethical standards.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.

    Experience:

    • 12+ years of tax experience, with a focus on technology companies.
    • Deep technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, especially for technology companies.
    • Experience leading and managing tax professionals, providing coaching and feedback.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.
    • Proven ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and develop innovative tax planning strategies.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite.

    Compensation:

    • Competitive annual salary in the range of $220,000 to $500,000+, based on experience level.
