I sift through the complex to create simplicity.  I joined Lazard 26+ years ago and have worked from conception to completion on their PE & VC funds. 

Robert Frost summed up life in 3 words (it goes on) and I have summed up life at Lazard in 3 bullets:

1. Investor Engagement and Financial Reporting Lead: Collaborated with Managing Principals, Portfolio CEOs/CFOs, Legal, Accounting, and internal partners to prepare performance reporting and schedules, fiscal plans, and financial statements for 1,000 investors. Managed global investors and proxies across life of the funds. Led logistics for 72 fund events. Facilitated escheatment process with LTI investment hurdles.

2. Risk Management and Regulatory Control Liaison: Developed and implemented procedures in line with evolving regulations and long-term committee engagements (SOX, Investment, Advisory). Documented disaster recovery protocols. Aligned insurance policies spanning firm/fund liability coverage and compliance (D&O, General, Fiduciary)  

3. Internal Operations Financial and Resource Manager:  Oversaw operational expenses for 4 funds inclusive of 30 employees across 3 offices (NY, Boston, DC) for the private side of the firm. Liaised with Insperity on payroll and HR benefits.  Reconciled time and expense reporting, IT/network and communications agreements, subscriptions and licenses. Responsible for billing and reimbursement of expenses for Fund Portfolio and Board of Directors.
