    Position Summary:

    The Knowledge Management (KM) Solutions Manager supports, innovates, and collaborates with other members of the KM Department to develop and maintain the Firm's KM program and create lawyer-facing KM products and solutions. The KM Solutions Manager contributes to the development of innovative technologies and processes to aid in the delivery of legal services and better serve the firm's clients.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    • Manage data-related components of the KM Department's project workflows such as collections, name normalization, populating missing data, running test exports, and performing final QC
    • Participate in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based offerings, including research, and reviewing results from AI models
    • Project manage KM initiatives including drafting protocols, creating workflows, conducting training, coordinating with contract attorneys and managing timelines
    • Engage in technology trainings and pilots to ensure the KM Department continues to leverage the best technology for internal use and practice-group specific technology offerings
    • Work with McDermott Transactional Solutions and KM on Form Finder, including blacklining and reviewing agreements flagged as initial results
    • Work with Directors of KM on Document Assembly projects
    • Track monthly use metrics for all KM Power BI platforms and create a summary of metrics for internal review
    • Maintain KM YourSource and KM-related information on practice group pages by adding new links and updating language as needed
    • Manage other KM Department support functions such as budget tracking, invoice management, protocol drafting, and engagement with vendors for contract employees
    Job Specifications:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • At least five (5) years of related work experience in a large law firm environment
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
    • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
    • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly

    Expected Pay Range in Los Angeles $143,000 - $196,000

    Expected Pay Range in Orange County $136,000 - $187,000

    Expected Pay Range in New York, San Francisco & Silicon Valley $149,000 - $205,000

    Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
