I believe that my background in executive leadership, training, working with medical student trainees, and financial management fits well with your expectations of this position.

As the present executive responsible for the AMA Medical Student Section I was charged with

  • Hiring and training of new staff.
  • Budget oversight of programs and services approaching 1M.
  • Improving member engagement and supporting recruitment efforts.
  • And developing a strategic plan with stakeholders on an annual basis utilizing SMART goals.

Through the above we were able to reposition the Section in policy impact, programmatic excellence, and Section marketability to potential members.
