    Role Summary

    Client Solutions Managers are responsible for identifying and developing new client business within a region or area and cultivating relationships with partners and clients. This position will partner with Operations and Marketing on proposals and community relations activities to achieve business development and sales goals. In addition, this position will develop and implement strategic client solutions plans for geographic and vertical market sectors, and lead partnerships that support achieving sales goals and objectives. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of JE Dunn.

    Key Role Responsibilities - Core
    • Performs active business development, marketing, and publicrelations activities in support of business goals.
    • Researches, qualifies, and prioritizes potential customers.
    • Coordinates and oversees maintenance of records and reports concerning client contacts and scheduled client solutions activities.
    • Prepares, presents and executes client solutions action plans for specific targets.
    • Helps develop new business, sales and client relations for defined markets.
    • Helps with the development of proposals, presentations and other client communications.
    • Provides planning help to prospective and current clients prior to contract execution.
    • Serves as a company representative on civic, business, charitable and professional organizations.
    • Exhibits exemplary leadership skills and professional acumen.
    Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core

    In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:

    • Executes action plans for client solutions goals.
    • Participates on local boards and committees.
    • Creating and implementing strategic plans for assigned areas.
    • Building and maintaining a professional network and actively engaging in that network.
    • Preparing and presenting monthly marketing reports to designated executives.
    • Manages the development of proposals, presentations, and other client communications.
    • Partners with operations teams to plan, create presentations, and execute capture plans on pursuits or to business partners and community organizations.
    • Creates strategic relationships and partnerships with internal and external groups to position JE Dunn and leverage existing and new services.
    • Provides leadership to operations team to prepare and execute successful interviews.
    • Leads the client relationship development, including ownership of client relationship in partnership with other key team members.
    • Manages and performs client solutions, marketing and public relations activities in support of client solutions goals.
    • Leads and executes client solutions action plans for national, and or regional markets for building types and construction delivery means.
    • Prepares interview teams with key message points, supporting visual documents, and content delivery strategies.
    • Always presents a positive disposition and maintains constructive interpersonal relationships when under stress.
    • Researches competitors' value propositions by gathering, analyzing, and acting on market intelligence.
    • Challenges conventional thinking, solves problems, and develops creative solutions to assist clients fulfill their mission.
    • Demonstrates willingness and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to obtain information or solve problems in support of team goals.
    • Leads, supports and promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Understands JE Dunn's policy of non-discrimination and ensures positive proactive implementation throughout the organization.

    • Ability to organize and assist project teams in preparation for presentation to clients, business partners, and community organizations.
    Education
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction science, marketing, management or related field (Required)
    • In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
    Experience
    • 5+ years marketing or Business Development experience in the building industry or related experience (Preferred)
    Working Environment
    • Valid and unrestricted drivers license required
    • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
    • May require periods of travel
    • Normal office environment
    • Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
    • Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder
