Position Overview:


As an Outside Lubricant Business Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth by acquiring new business opportunities and nurturing existing accounts within the lubricant industry.

You will be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored lubricant solutions to meet their requirements.

This role will involve extensive fieldwork and a proactive approach to sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and

Generate Leads:
Identify and pursue potential clients in target industries and geographical areas. Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals to generate new leads.

  • Conduct Sales Presentations: Present lubricant products and services to potential clients, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and pain points.
  • Develop and

Implement Sales Strategies:
Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and industries. Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets.

  • Negotiate Contracts and

Close Deals:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure new business opportunities. Ensure agreements are mutually beneficial and align with company objectives.

  • Build and

Maintain Client Relationships:
Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences.

  • Monitor Market Trends and

Competitor Activity:
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use market intelligence to identify opportunities for business growth and to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

  • Meet Sales Targets and KPIs: Set and achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) as outlined by management. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including sales pipelines, forecasts, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably within the lubricant industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with a drive to exceed targets.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Pay:
$75, $90,000.00 per year


Ability to Relocate:

  • Bloomington, IL: Relocate before starting work (required)
