- Lead recruitment and yield efforts for international students.
- Represent the university at international student recruitment conferences, conventions, fairs, and other appropriate meetings or events.
- Create and oversee new strategies for international lead generation and yield.
- Coordinate with marketing team to update international website pages and digital content.
- Collaborate with international agents and OPM partners to grow enrollment.
- Develop and manage on-ground recruitment efforts in viable international markets to build presence, market saturation, and feeder program pathways.
- Lead a high performing, results-focused international admissions team.
- Establish and implement fast, efficient, and competitive international admissions and I-20 processes and policies.
- Ensure all international admissions policies are consistent with WASC, Department of Homeland Security/SEVIS, and State Department regulations and requirements.
- Coordinate and support Global Education and International Student Services teams, including all international orientation events on campus to ensure student success.
- Serve as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO).
- Perform analytics on international recruitment efforts to ensure the greatest return on investment and enrollment growth, while maintaining student quality
- Coordinate with Division of Student Success to ensure availability of options for international student housing.
- Develop training guidelines for both international recruitment and admissions.
- Proactively identify trends and concerns of prospective student populations and implement strategies to leverage those trends to achieve student enrollment growth.
- Communicate and consult with other university departments to improve international admissions and recruitment processes.
- Provide enrollment reports and analysis to various constituencies as requested.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Vice Provost of Global Affairs, Provost, or President.
- Education requirement:
- Bachelor's degree required, graduate degree a plus.
- Years of experience:
- At least five years of high-level experience with international student recruitment, admissions, enrollment, partnerships, and/or services.
- Knowledge of:
- Past PDSO/DSO/RO/ARO experience a plus.
- languages besides English are a plus.
- Direct job-related requirements:
- Experience and high degree of competence working with Salesforce, or similar CRM.
- Ability to communicate and interact from local and global locations and remotely, including familiarity with WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, Viber, Messenger, and other short messaging apps.
- Skills and abilities:
- Outstanding people, communication, networking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in multi-cultural, cross-cultural, and fast-moving work environments.

BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Under the supervision of the Vice Provost for Global Affairs, the Director of International Recruitment and Admissions will oversee a high performing international recruitment and admissions team; partner with international recruiters, OPMs, and universities; and collaborate with various administrative and academic units to grow international enrollment at GGU on campus, online, and at international locations.
