The Role:
Admissions and Communications Associate

We're looking for a part-time Admissions and Communications Associate to support the marketing, admissions, and communications functions of our school:


Main Responsibilities:


  • Provide general administrative support for the Director of Admissions & Communications
  • In the area of Communications:
  • Assist with the ongoing delivery with the school's communication and marketing plan
  • Assist with the delivery of the weekly newsletter
  • Assist with social media updates if applicable
  • In the area of Admissions & Enrollment:
  • Support events: event management and logistics of open houses and info sessions
  • Assist in the management and evaluation of applicant files and admission decisions
  • Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts, which may include outreach to local elementary schools and PTAs, representing Millennium during school fairs, and information sessions that occur inperson, in virtual settings, as well as on and offcampus
  • Foster relationships with applicant families reflecting the kindness and values of the Millennium community.
  • Assist with parent interviews
  • Manage student ambassadors for various admissions events and panels
  • Give campus tours
  • Assist in scheduling tours and shadow days; as well as logistics involved in the shadow days
  • Provide ongoing administrative support
  • Additional duties as assigned or determined necessary by the Director of Admissions and Communications

Requirements:


  • Preferably, three or more years of school admissions or educational experience
:


  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional people skills and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sensitivity, discretion, and a sense of humor.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and working knowledge of database management. Computer skills are a must.
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to personal development and improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with families (parents) in schoolbased settings.
  • Demonstrated, and experienced commitment to our school's mission and values.
  • Dedication to advancing antiracism and social justice.
  • Excellent communication, social, and problemsolving skills.
