Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing the company's financial reporting, accounting, and compliance functions, as well as managing a team of remote individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage the monthly and annual close process, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
Responsible for biweekly payroll processing
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial records and reporting
Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant financial reporting regulations and standards
Work with company's tax accountants in the preparation of tax returns and tax planning strategies
Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data
Lead and manage the company's accounting team, providing training and development opportunities as needed
Respond to federal, state and local tax notices with proper and timely responses.
Prepare company for annual review and/or audit, including intercompany transactions, consolidations and inventory audits.
Quarterly travel may be required to Torito Headquarters

Pay: $75, $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

Accounting: 5 years (Required)

Work Location: Remote

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Manufacturing experience required
CPA Preferred
Remote Team Management experience
Cash Flow Management experience
Experience with ADP
A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting regulations
Experience with large-scale financial systems and process improvement initiatives
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Fluent English required, Spanish a bonus
