- Track projects from receipt of new product brief through commercial production.
- Daily interface with customers to provide status updates and timely communication of key information as it relates to new product briefs and proactive development projects.
- Prepare submission paperwork, sample labels and coordinate shipping for all product submissions to customers, as needed.
- Coordinate with fragrance suppliers for fragrance submissions, maintain fragrance sample log.
- Track and facilitate customer submission feedback to ensure timely resubmissions.
- Work closely with Senior Project Manager & New Business Execution and Sales on daily prioritization of projects.
- Ongoing and regular interface with Customers regarding the coordination of bulk requests, consumer testing, package compatibility tests with customers third party testing labs and/or fragrance of packaging suppliers, fill weight recommendations with Quality Assurance and all other commercialization requirements.
- Prepare bulk samples as required with corresponding paperwork/labeling for testing.
- Works with the Account Management Department to coordinate any package/product testing and line trials.
- Coordinate with QC for customer testing protocols and execution. In addition to reviewing relevant stability data with R&D and customers when required.
- Coordinate with Cost Analyst or Account Management Department to fulfill all customer pricing requests.
- Arrange pre-market testing (safety testing and micro testing) with R&D, QC & Finance following formula approvals.
- Track and insure timely submissions with various departments for documents submissions such as ingredient listings, safety data sheets, certificates of analysis and stability reports.
- Meet on a regular, ongoing basis with Management, lead R&D formulators, Sales team and R&D Chemists to provide updates on project status by Customer, paying special attention to the relative priority of projects.
- Gathers and analyzes information to prepare status reports for customers and/or management personnel, including any relevant KPIs (brief to first submission)
- Participate in customer meetings and conference calls when required.
- Ensure all project details are completed.
- Procurement of componentry required for the submission of R&D samples.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Lead and manage cloud-based project management tool and carefully track milestones to completion. Includes training of staff.
- Report monthly KPI's.
- Proficient in advanced timeline management, demonstrating a strong ability to efficiently allocate resources and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones and deadlines effectively.
- Extremely detail oriented to ensure accurate documentation.
- Independent worker who can competently handle day to day challenges; adapt to circumstances in work environment.
- Professional and well versed in written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and time management skills required.
- Strong Computer literate in Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer proficiency.
- While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Continuous use of computer keyboard and visual focus of computer monitor essential to job duties.
- 4 years college degree in business, technology, or communications and/or related equivalent experience.
