    Product Marketing That Elevates Our Marketing


    As our new Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will report to the Executive Director of Marketing to establish product marketing best practices, lead product market research and strategy, and create engaging marketing content that resonates with our prospects and customers.

    Beyond delivering decks, collateral, and impact, you excel in transforming robust insights into tangible, exciting marketing across various channels, including websites, videos, emails, and new product releases.

    We are seeking an experienced product marketer with a track record in the B2B SaaS sector, passionate about developing technology for mid-market and enterprise customers.

    Experience in EHS, Sustainability, or ESG software is highly valued, as is diversity in experience and thinking.


    Your efforts should have notably improved marketing engagement and impact through enhanced messaging, visual storytelling, and digital marketing, contributing to increased awareness and adoption of Benchmark Gensuite solution platforms and applications.

    You should be skilled in research, analysis, strategic thinking, and clear communication, especially in positioning and messaging.

    Effective collaboration with product experts, senior leaders, sales, solutions, and marketing teams is essential, as you will be pivotal in generating insights, messaging, and materials that lead to improved outcomes.

    2024 will be an important year of growth and transformation and marketing will play a key role in 2024's growth.

    What You Bring To The Role

    5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS.
    PMA certification is a bonus.
    Experience with EHS, Sustainability, or ESG is preferred but not required
    A strategic thinker with proven abilities in being hands-on.
    Highly effective listening and critical thinking skills, coupled with deep customer empathy.
    Capability to conduct customer research and data analysis, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
    Demonstrated success in supporting and executing go-to-market campaigns for launching and scaling products and features.
    Excellent communication skills, able to clearly and simply convey complex concepts in writing, presentations, and verbally.
    Proven collaboration and execution of materials to support customer-facing teams such as Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support.
    Skilled in creating simple, powerful messaging that leads to compelling positioning decks and marketing content
    Natural storytelling ability, exceptional writing skills, and the knack for crafting compelling content that addresses customer pain points.
    The tools, templates, and playbooks to make sure product marketing is disciplined, structured, and accessible to the wider company.
    Strong project management skills, with the capacity to brief cross-functional teams so your strategic work and creative ideas can scale and have maximum impact
    Ability to manage complex plans, and engage diverse audiences including internal stakeholders, webinars, trainings, and customer events.
    Hold yourself accountable and committed to meeting deliverables and timelines through clear objectives and measurable results.

    The Work You Will Do


    Lead, co-create and use qualitative and quantitative customer research to become an expert on our market, the product, and customers needs.

    Use primary and third-party research to inform how we communicate our solutions and benefits.

    Work closely and meet regularly with SMEs, product owners and managers to deeply understand the business environment, regulatory landscape, and the solutions Benchmark Gensuite delivers.

    Develop compelling and differentiated product positioning and messaging that considers the needs of the customer and communicates how our product brings value.

    Own the improvement and creation of critical product marketing strategy assets including ICPs, segmentation, personas, battlecards, etc.
    Create clear and persuasive content regardless of the audience, channel, or format—think pitch decks, webinars, internal overviews/trainings, video and more
    Own the competitive landscape and use it to inform the wider team and improve the marketing.
    Stay on top of industry trends and amplify new ideas and innovations to the wider team.
    Co-develop and drive the strategy, planning and execution of go-to-market segments

    Be a constructive and impactful member of the marketing team to enhance our writing and visual storytelling as we transform many aspects of our marketing in 2024.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, partnerships, operations and sales teams.
