Job PurposeThe Marketing Brand Manager is responsible for managing all promotional activities of the Weiss Technik product brand. This position develops and implements the marketing strategy and collaborates with the sales department.
This includes collecting and analyzing data to evaluate existing and potential markets including marketing strategy, product website, and digital advertising.
This position has an active role in event management, tradeshows, and social media. This position also coordinates with other brand managers and marketing team members for other brands.Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and implements strategic Marketing plan in conjunction with the Marketing team
Coordinates and manages all aspects of trade shows, webinars and events, including: Manage promotion of all events, coordinate all logistics from evaluation, booking, planning staff, show portal ordering and inventory, booth display appearance, ensuring design aligns with branding standards, budget and tracking all show expenditures
Occasional travel to attend, setup, tear down specific trade shows
Provides direction for product brand materials such as brochures, articles, email newsletters
Develops website content and directs digital marketing activities
Manages public relations, promotions and advertising
Assists with the preparation of marketing presentations
Manages contacts with marketing agencies and vendors regarding website, internet search placement, printing, trade shows, video, and promotional gifts
Collects and analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential sales markets
Conducts market research and assists in developing marketing plans for specific products
Executes research and development of content for publications on our products
Identifies and monitors competitors, market conditions, and industry changes
Responsible for lead generation, tracking results and marketing KPIs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing
5+ years' experience working for an industrial product manufacturing company in a Marketing capacity
Experience managing trade shows and events
Knowledge of Google Analytics, website optimization and search marketing
Working knowledge of Wordpress, CMS and email marketing platforms
Experience in digital marketing and marketing automation (such as Hubspot)
Strong computer-related skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Professional appearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to design a Strategic Marketing plan preferred
Ability to analyze markets and make recommendations based on the analysis preferred.
Working Conditions
Periodic stationary work with frequent movement throughout the facility to access chambers, files, office machinery, etc. Works at a desk and a computer screen for extended periods of time.
Employee must be able to manually enter data to the computer system and understand the screen and images that appear.
Frequently lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of hands to hold, lift and handle materials. Occasional climbing, bending and squatting. Periodic travel may be involved. When traveling, significant portions of travel time (both car and air) may involve extended sedentary periods.
