    Description

    The Sales Manager, main focus on Home Appliances will be part of the SETi (Sensor Electronic Technology) Americas team. SETi is a division of Seoul Semiconductor. This position will be responsible for growing the company's revenue specific to the home appliance market in the Americas region. Proficiency with the home appliance vertical (washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers etc) lighting components (UV and white LEDs), electronics assembly and manufacturing, is preferred. This position will interact with OEM home appliance customers as well as other potential UV and visible light customers within the territory.

    • Develop strategy for home appliance Americas business
    • Provide market specific data to executive leadership to help guide company direction
    • Call on home appliance customers and generate new design opportunities and convert those opportunities into revenue
    • Participate in relevant industry committees, organizations and trade shows
    • Manage your business via internal CRM system and forecasting
    • Grow the SETi and Seoul brand throughout the home appliance industry through a combination of marketing and sales outreach

    Requirements:

    • Must be located near or within proximty of Louisville, Kentucky
    • Bachelor's Degree with a Master's Degree strongly preferred
    • 5-10 years of home appliance experience with an emphasis on engineering or sales into the channel
    • Existing contact list of major home appliance companies within the Americas
    • Knowledge and understanding of LED components including UV, white and color LEDs
    • Ability to work in a multicultural and cross functional team
    • Ability to work together as a team and communicate well internally and externally, both written and spoken with a high regard for adequate reporting and customer relationship management
    • Ability to target and qualify new opportunities and help guide the company strategy towards these opportunities.
    • Detailed knowledge of the R&D and manufacturing process for home appliances
    • The ability to travel domestically and internationally for business purposes.
