    Overview

    The Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and developing strong relationships with top clients of Baumann Paper. This position involves nurturing existing client relationships to ensure continued business growth with Baumann Paper Company. The Key Account Manager strategically leverages company resources to implement solutions that align with clients' objectives, driving long-term success. Focus will also be on acquiring new accounts within key industries served.

    Primary Responsibilities

    To excel in this role, you must effectively carry out the following responsibilities:

    • Manage and expand key accounts critical to Baumann Paper
    • Enhance customer relationships while implementing strategies to boost sales for key clients
    • Coordinate sales meetings to meet growth goals and expectations
    • Create bids and proposals for Baumann Paper products
    • Identify new business opportunities within key client base
    • Support customer setup and assist with accounts payable as needed
    • Provide market insights to Pricing Analyst
    • Utilize CRM to track business development activities
    • Stay updated on industry trends to offer innovative solutions to clients
    • Assist in managing customer inventory upon request
    • Conduct product demonstrations for potential customers
    • Engage in tradeshows, conferences, and team meetings
    • Perform additional assigned duties

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field
    • 5 years of successful sales experience, with focus on Healthcare, Foodservice, Education, Hospitality, or Manufacturing

    Physical Requirements

    The work environment requires the following:

    • Safe driving and vehicle operation
    • Extended computer use and customer communication
    • Operation of standard office equipment
    • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
    • Sitting, standing, and bending for long periods
    • Clear communication and problem-solving skills
    • Detail-oriented with business acumen
