LEGAL ADMINISTRATOR'S ASSISTANT FOR LAW FIRM
This is a terrific opportunity for a dedicated, self-motivated individual looking to grow within a fast-paced, growing law firm that helps others.
Candidates must have a positive attitude, possess the ability to work under pressure and be committed to serving their clients.
The Assistant Office Manager must be a self-starter, highly organized, demonstrate that they possess the ability to meet deadlines, and be effective and efficient.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Law Firm Administrator in the day-to-day operations of the firm;
Assist with the following Human Resources functions: recruitment, onboarding, and training;
Assist with distribution and association of documents utilizing client management software;
Provide support to legal assistants and case managers as directed by Law Firm Administrator;
Provide back-up to mailroom and reception functions;
Maintain a clean, safe environment;
Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
College Degree in a related field or AA plus 3 years of relevant work experience;
Demonstrated work experience and successful track record in hiring and training employees;
Minimum of 2 years of office work experience or demonstrated interest in the law;
Must have strong computer skills with demonstrated experience;
Progressive level of responsibility in previous positions;
Bilingual – English/Spanish or English/Creole PREFERRED
Full-time, 40 hours per week, non-exempt
Hours are Monday thru Thursday 8:30a to 5:30p and Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Pay: $40,000 to $45,000 per year (depending on qualifications and experience)
