    The Details

    Palomar is looking for highly motivated Business Development Representative to build sustained growth for our Inside Sales department.


    The Business Development Representative is responsible for engaging with existing and prospective insurance agent partners to promote Palomar's insurance products professionally and creatively.

    The role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to impact Palomar's direct Personal Lines revenue through execution of the company's sales strategy and unique approach to distribution.


    What will you do?:
    Develop a strong understanding of Palomar's products and continue learning as the product portfolio evolves.

    Establish and execute on strategies for meeting and exceeding revenue goals through outbound contact to existing and prospective insurance agent partners.

    Utilize the ability to learn, change, and gain from each experience to become more effective in subsequent sales scenarios.
    Work effectively in a team environment to drive and create revenue opportunities.
    Manage customer relationships post-sale, including involvement in strategy to develop long term business relationships.

    What We Are Looking For

    Bachelor's degree
    1+ years in sales role
    Collaborative spirit with the ability to advocate on behalf of PLMR and our customer base
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively partner with internal teams
    Strong desire to "win" and build customer relationships

    Pay Range:

    Min:
    $50,000.00 Max: $75,000.00


    The above pay range is for all US-based roles based on function and level, benchmarked against companies of similar size and scope.

    To be compliant with local legislation as well as provide greater transparency to candidates, we disclose salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired job location.

    We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual long-term incentive stock grants. In addition, we offer a highly competitive benefits package.

    Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and qualifications, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
