Accounting Manager

Full-time - Boston

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team to support the accounting & finance team in the daily financial management of the firm.

Responsibilities:
Month-end close: Complete accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal controls

Cost Accounting:
Track and analyze project cost calculations and share trends with managers

Account Reconciliations:
GL account reconciliations and related GL analysisInter-company reconciliations and related cash settlements

Continuous Improvement:
Own, review and document accounting procedures and policies to ensure efficiency and accuracy, and improve month end close cycle timesQuarter and year end close: Prepare audit schedules and help manage the flow of data to external auditorsSupport internal customers: Provide frequent, clear and timely support throughout the organization; Work closely with HR, IT and Legal departmentsPerform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; or equivalent experience5-7 years relevant work experienceHighly proficient with MS Office applications, especially ExcelExperience with MS Dynamics / Business CentralFlexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be self-motivated, well-organized, detail-orientedAbility to work well independently, and to drive projects to conclusionExperience managing and maintaining confidential information.

Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the firm
