    Description
    About The Opportunity

    This individual will be responsible for a wide array of duties including SEC reporting, technical accounting research, Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") compliance support and special projects.

    This is a key position on the finance team and works closely with various departments within the company.


    Salary:
    $180,000 – $200,000
    Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

    Responsibilities
    Preparation of SEC financial reporting documents (to include but not limited to Forms 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy).
    Prepare or review supporting information used to compile financial statements, notes and MD&A. Prepare disclosure checklists related to SEC filings.
    Work with external auditors during the annual audit process and quarterly reviews.

    Assist with technical accounting on complex transactions, including research and documentation associated with various topics such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, acquisitions, etc.

    Perform technical accounting research and prepare whitepaper documentation as necessary including business combinations, revenue recognition and share-based compensation
    Assist in the accounting close, consolidation and reporting process.
    Perform SOX controls on assigned areas of responsibility.

    Qualifications
    BA in Finance/Accounting, 8+ years related experience, 2+ years Big 4 strongly preferred
    Experience with the preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 100).
    Thorough understanding of SEC Reporting and US GAAP, ability to effectively research and apply results of that research.
    Experience in developing technical memos to support accounting considerations and conclusions.
    Excellent data analytical skills.
    Self-motivated, able to work within a team and independently.
    Excellent communication, reasoning, interpersonal and organizational skills, and superior attention to detail.

    Strong knowledge in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel; and have ability to quickly learn ERP systems.

    Ability to work under pressure meeting statutory deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    CPA strongly preferred.
    Equity Edge experience a definite plus
    Acquisition experience, working with external valuation firms.
